Estella picked the perfect weather day to host WSCSC’s 3rd Annual Spa Day. At least 16 members either took advantage of the Spa Day or helped provide treatments to fellow members. It was wonderful day and many got a peek of the Sun being eclipsed by the moon. We had the magic glasses, of course, to protect our peepers.
The horses who appear stoned in the photos had been sedated prior to their dental work done by Troy Walck from Outwest Equine. Cassandra Brown was the veterinarian on site, providing sedation and sheath cleaning too. CJ brought Dakota and he got The Triple Whammy, teeth, sheath cleaned and a Bemer treatment.
The Bemer treatments for horse and human were provided by Cynthia Jean O’Neill and her team of Shoshanah and her daughter Ruth, as well as Tracey Mackey. Chair massage for humans was provided Carrie and any ladies took advantage of their shoulders being massaged. Many of of us took advantage of all the wonderful treatments.
Several members were seen riding in Estella’s playground and working through the obstacles. What a beautiful spring day, what a wonderful opportunity for proactive health treatments for members and their equine friends. How fortunate WSCSC is to have have such skilled practitioners available to us. Plus it was “so much fun!”
