The Womens Surface Creek Saddle Club Inc. exists to encourage, educate and empower women who share equine related interests. Members are encouraged to share knowledge, participate in equine educational activities in an effort to improve the welfare of our equines and safety for members and guests.
We emphasize ‘Safe and Enjoyable Trail Rides’ and safety in the everyday handling of equines for members and guests. Members and guests enjoy camaraderie in a fun and social atmosphere improving our mental and physical health.

WE MAKE RIDING FUN!
We are inclusive and fun-loving group of equestrians who come together in this club to promote all things horses. We love our horses and members participate in a wide variety of disciplines, including but not limited to trail riding, dressage, cutting, ranch versatility, reining, horse camping, training, etc. While we are still based in Cedaredge, rides and events occur throughout the Western Slope.

LEARN MORE ABOUT US
The Women’s Surface Creek Saddle Club was started in 1959 in Cedaredge, Colorado as a trail riding and parade performing club. While trail riding and parades are still very much a part of what we do, over the years we have evolved to include clinics, competitive trail rides & events, trail maintenance and public service. We welcome members with a variety of different riding disciplines from all over Western Colorado. Our trusty steeds include all types and sizes including mules and donkeys!

JOIN THE CLUB
For fun, camaraderie, great riding, and social experiences, join the Women’s Surface Creek Saddle Club. We have several levels of rides to accommodate your level of experience. Some are short and easy; others highly adventurous and challenging. You don’t have to own a horse to join the herd! We have lots of off-horse activities such as parties, campouts and bbq’s. We help and support each other by sharing our knowledge of horsemanship and the health and well-being of our equine partners.
