Event: Ladies Night Out & MVP Awards
Date: October 1, 2024
Ladies Night Out was held at Mesa Winds Winey in Hotchkiss on October 1st. It was a fun evening beginning with cocktails and appetizers. Dinner was delicious and it’s difficult to say if the Bread Pudding or the Chocolate Espresso Pie was the better dessert.
The Most Valuable Participants (MVP) presentation included surprise gifts of a ball cap/with the clubs logo to members who volunteered and helped with Island In The Sky in August. Each member present receiving a ball cap and a verbal Thank You, summarizing their club activities and MVP points accumulated in 2023. If you volunteered from Island In The Sky but didn’t make it to LNO, your ball caps, will find you soon.
MVP began in 2022 as a way to acknowledge the members who participated the most in the various activities of the club. This year we tracked 69 different club related activities tracked. Over 10,000 points were awarded to 65 different members.
Prior to the announcement of the MVP, the party-goers gave Brandy a Standing O for all the efforts she put in being the clinician for the club’s 6 clinics. Brandy was also the Ride and Clinic Committee Chair and very active with the Island In The Sky Committee.
