6 members, Brandy the Trail Boss, Sky, Betty, Cynthia, Traci and Juleen rode the 17 mile trek up the Khanna Creek trail onto Spring Camp then up to Blue Lake. Sky was thrilled to finally find Blue Lake after years of trying. The group took the long route to Blue Lake and the Cheevers short cut home. Definitely a BLACK ride and a difficult trail to stay on because of so much dead fall and wet marshy areas. Brandy rode parts of the trail twice in the last week and Juleen’s GPS tracks were the keys to success.
Cynthia gets extra Kudos for riding a strange horse, Annie for this long haul and Traci for riding Millie on their longest ride. What a great ride with Blue Lake as the Lunch Spot!
